Overview
Scrub & Scent is a youth-led soap production and sales initiative established by Bunny Hops Youth Foundation to create employment, build practical skills, and promote environmentally responsible production.
Problem
Youth unemployment remains a major challenge, especially for young people from marginalized backgrounds who lack access to formal jobs, capital, and practical work experience. At the same time, many small consumer products are produced using unsustainable practices and excessive plastic packaging.
Solution
Bunny Hops launched Scrub & Scent as a social enterprise that engages young people in the manufacturing, packaging, and sale of affordable soap products. Youth are trained in basic production, quality control, sales, and teamwork. The initiative promotes the use of recycled or minimal packaging, linking livelihood creation with environmental responsibility.
