Youth-led. Nature-rooted. Future-building.
Bunny Hops Youth Foundation creates spaces where underserved youth can heal, learn, create, and turn ideas into livelihoods through environment, art, wellbeing, and enterprise.
We are building a different kind of future for young people.
At Bunny Hops Youth Foundation, we believe young people flourish when they are given more than advice. They need safe spaces, practical skills, connection, and a reason to believe in themselves again. That is why we build youth-led, nature-based spaces where wellbeing, creativity, and opportunity meet.We are building a different kind of future for young people.
Our journey so far
BHYF has grown from direct community action, youth engagement, and the steady belief that waste can become work, and neglected spaces can become places of possibility.

We facilitated young people to train at KIRDI in soap and detergent making. One of the beneficiaries has since gone on to run his own detergent company, Scrub and Scent.

We reached approximately 87 youth living on and around a dumpsite in Kawangware, many of them stateless and without identification documents. We mobilized them around cleaning the site and successfully advocated for 45 of them to receive IDs.

Partnered with other organizations and stakeholders in a tree planting initiative in Kajiado County and planted 90 trees at a primary school. We also deepened our community relationships through women’s training sessions linked to that network.

We played a key role in the East Africa Sports Diplomacy and Play for Peace Youth Tournament at Zetech University, under an MOU with the organizing organization, helping connect youth, leadership, peace, and regional collaboration in a growing annual platform.
Our work brings environment, wellbeing, and livelihoods together.

These are early steps, but have real impact. They show what becomes possible when young people are met with consistency, belief, and practical support.
Featured Project
Kijani Haven
Kijani Haven is one of the clearest expressions of our vision. It is a youth sanctuary designed as a living space where nature, art, wellbeing, peer learning, and ideas come together. Young people will come not only to learn, but to breathe, connect, reflect, and build. It is a place where the environment supports healing, and healing opens the door to action.
